Amitabh
Bachchan, the Shehanshah of bollywood who has been
shooting in the Kutch region of Gujarat for the
last few days, was mighty impressed with the artistic
mastery of a local artist Anil Kumar Joshi, who
made sand sculptures of his father Harivansh Rai
Bachchan and Big B on the beach. In fact, the sand
sculpture on the beach of this sleepy Gujarat town
of Mandvi is a major attraction for the tourists
and Big B was no exception. He even took photographs
of these two images for future reference and praised
the artists to skies. On this occasion, the Mandvi
municipality also came in for praise from Big B,
who congratulated the mayor of the organization
for helping the citizens not only in their fight
for their daily amenities like water, electricity
etc but also taking up promotional activities to
attract tourists from various parts of the country

Mega
star Amitabh Bachchan is on a weeklong tour in Gujarat,
for shooting of a commercial to promote tourism
in the state. Big B, who is the Brand Ambassador
of the state, seems to be getting more and more
fascinated by the intricacies of the state and the
kind of landscape and architectural monuments that
the state has to offer to its visitors. After having
the most unusual experiences everyday, there was
one such incident, which Big B may not forget in
a long time to come. It happened in a town called
Mandvi, which has a beach and is wonderfully located.
When on a visit to the town, the star was pleasantly
surprised to find a sand sculpture of his dad and
him sculpted intricately on the beach. Reportedly,
Big B stood still for a moment, fascinated and trying
to take in every bit of the sculptures beautifully
carved features. The marvel was evident in his face,
and he gave a huge compliment to the sand artist.
Big B said” They are wonderful and unique”.
Reportedly, the star was very pleased with the Mandvi
authorities in managing the upkeep of the town.
He was impressed with the efforts of the authorities
in promoting tourism of the state. Sources reveal
that the Nagar Palika President later said that
this was a tribute for the megastar and his father,
in this Golden Jubilee year of the state of Gujarat.
