Amitabh Bachchan praises the civic body of Mandvi

Mumbai: Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan has applauded the efforts of Mandvi in Gujarat. Our country is loaded with scenic beauty capable of attracting tourist from all over the world.

Unfortunately a lot of tourist attractive spots are being destroyed due to lack of proper maintenance.

Besides, there are innumerable places in India full of picturesque and heritage sites which are not visited by tourists due to lack of promotion.

Mandvi town in Gujarat, however, took up the cause of tourism with an enthusiasm yet unnoticed in most other places in our country.

The civic body of Mandvi, deviated from their usual job in order to do something magnificent to promote tourism in this beach town in Kutch district.

They created sand sculptures with the help of artist Anil Kumar joshi. Big B praised this effort generously and said that the sculptures are unique.

Such high praise from Amitabh Bachchan has raised the spirit of the people of Mandvi.
